Our approach

BeyondTube uses essential browser storage to provide secure account and application functionality. With your permission, we also use analytics technologies to understand how people find and use the service. Analytics is optional and remains off until you select “Accept analytics.”

Essential storage

Essential storage supports:

• Authentication, session security, and account access
• Application preferences and core workspace functionality
• Payment and subscription flows when you choose to purchase
• Your saved analytics choice

The analytics choice is stored locally under beyondtube.analytics-consent. Essential storage cannot always be disabled without affecting the service.

Optional analytics

If you consent, we load PostHog and Google Analytics 4. They may store or read identifiers in your browser to measure visits, referral sources, page views, and selected product events such as starting signup or completing a video import.

• PostHog Cloud EU: product and web analytics. Session replay and automatic interaction capture are disabled.
• Google Analytics 4: website and acquisition analytics. Google advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled.

We configure analytics so that transcripts, video titles, prompts, and email addresses are not included in tracked events. Google Analytics commonly uses cookies named _ga and _ga_*. PostHog is configured to use local storage rather than cookies.

Attribution data

When analytics is configured, BeyondTube records a first-touch landing path, approved UTM campaign parameters, and the referring website hostname. Arbitrary URL parameters and full referring URLs are not retained for analytics.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use the “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the application at any time. If you withdraw consent, new analytics collection stops, PostHog is opted out, and BeyondTube attempts to remove Google Analytics cookies set on its domain. You can also remove stored data through your browser settings.

Other service providers

Authentication, hosting, YouTube integrations, and payment providers may use storage that is necessary to deliver the feature you request. Their processing is governed by their own policies and our applicable agreements with them.
